If you know me, you know I'm all about skincare, hair care, and the latest beauty products. It's a form of self care that I absolutely love. But have you ever checked out the long list of ingredients + chemicals on any of the products you use daily? It's enough to make you want to find a natural alternative when possible
One of my most recent skincare re-discoveries is Goats Milk Soap.
As someone who has always struggled with eczema, especially during winter months, I have since found that Goats Milk Soap is something that just needs to be in my everyday routine.
During one of our visits to Nashville to last summer, my Mom and I stopped by the Nashville Farmers Market (our favorite thing to do while in town!) and that's when we found Lynchburg Soap Comapany.
We were taken aback by all of the different options! Some of our favorites that we ended up purchasing were Lavender Pachouli, Lavender Lemon, Honey & Oat, and I was so excited to even find Nag Champa, an old time favorite scent of mine. :)
There was even a bar of soap called Dog Soap which works as an all natural tick & flea repellant. I have heard it's also great for keeping the bugs away while camping or hiking, so I had to give it a try!
We also picked up a few of our favorite Little Seed Farm products. We discovered them during one of our Nashville visits quite a few years back, and fell in love with the quality. I was excited to find that you can now also find a variety of their products at Target!
They have the best lavender liquid hand soap, it smells heavenly, and I love recycling the sweet brown bottle for wildflowers on my window sill :) I also LOVED the activated charcoal bar soap. It really helped keep my complexion smooth and it's definitely something I'm going to be purchasing again!
But the lather...... One of the best things about goats milk soap is the rich lather. You just don't get that with other types of bar soap.
Benefits of Goats Milk Soap
Softer skin, dry skin/eczema improves
Lessens skin irritations
Essential oil aromatherapy aspects, lavender promoting relaxation
Known to heal keratosis pilaris (bumpy skin) the lactic acid in the Goats Milk helps to dissolve keratin
Goats Milk Soap can be found almost anywhere today because more and more people are falling in love with its beneficial properties.

Until next time :)
